 Once
again, the Dirt Devil's came home with the 1st Place award for
"Best Club Participation."

 It
wouldn't be the Dirt Devil way if we didn't win this accompanying
award! The Dirt Devil's did a fantastic job of decorating our
vehicles this year! Actually, one of our members, Steve Salisbury,
did a truly incredible job of decorating his Jeep TJ and won the
"Best Decorated Vehicle" award as well! Great job,
Steve! |

Well,
we were finally defeated for most club participation!! This would have
been our fifth year in a row for the 1st place! We were defeated by
Scouts West, and missed it by 4 vehicles! We will get 'um next year!

We
also took third place best decorated club for 2001!

Also very notable, Lisa Shrock was given an award for
collecting 504 toys for the event. The award was in memory of Travis Shrock.
This was a great effort by Lisa, and it was super of West Coast 4WD to present
her with the award. Thank you guys!

Well, we did it
again! Way to go Dirt Devils!!! We won most club participation at Toys 4 Tots
for the 4th year in a row! And the icing on the cake, we won 1st place
"Best Decorated Club!"
I guess with 32 of our 47 members present, we
were tough to beat. Scout West took second place with 18 vehicles. Gad Zuks took
3rd place with 11 vehicles!
Thanks to all of the Dirt Devils who were there, it
was a lot of fun. |

Every
year Suzy Johnson awards this great award to the club newsletter
that stands out most to her. The Dirt Devils who were in
attendance were very excited to see Heather receive this
prestigious award! (We knew she could do it!) |

Let's all give Heather Thomas a round of applause
for winning the 2000 In Gear "Editors Choice Award" for the Dirt
Devil's super newsletter, the Dirt Devil Digest. Heather was presented with this great
award at the Cal 4 Wheel Annual Convention & Awards dinner on February
19th, 2000.

Here is our

Place award for Best Participation in the Toys 4 Tots event. This event is
put on by the West Coast 4 Wheel Drive Club. We had 36 vehicles registered
for the 1999 charity event. |
